Jimmie G. McEver Jimmie Greene McEver of Snellville died Friday. He was 80. The graveside service was Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville. Mr.

McEver, a native of Atlanta, retired from the Atlanta Fire Department in 1976 as a lieutenant in the signal headquarters. He was also retired from MART and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and Grant Park Lodge Surviving are his wife, Alma A. McEver; children, Jim McEver Jr.

and Sandra Mitchell of Snellville; a sister, Sarah Browne of Atlanta; five grandchildren and a greatgrandchild. Tom M. Wages Funeral Service in Snellville handled the Paul W.Nichols Paul W.Nichols, 67, of Hoschton, died Monday. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Wages Oak Lawn Chapel.

Burial will be at Gwinnett Memorial Park. Mr. Nichols, a native of Young Harris, retired from Fulton Concrete after many years of service. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his wife, Lillie Mae Nichols; and siblings, Bessie Cates and Ruby Hickman of Decatur, Reba Eubanks of Lilburn, Maude Holcombe of Duluth, Thelma Ramey of Newborn and Cline W.

Nichols of Lawrenceville. Sanford B. Vandiver Sanford Byer Vandiver, 83, of Snellville, died Saturday. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home Chapel, Snellville.

Burial will be at Shadowlawn Cemetery, Lawrenceville. Mr. Vandiver, a native of Atlanta, was a retired electrician and a member of First Baptist Church of Snellville. He was the oldest member of I.B.E.W. No.

613 and a member of Doric Masonic Lodge No. 548 Surviving are his children, Sandra Swaim and Steve Vandiver of Snellville and Naomi Townsend of Eustis, six grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren. Wesley B. Young Jr. Wesley B.

Young 85, of Norcross died Saturday. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Bill Head Funeral Home, LilburnTucker Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. at Bairds Baptist Church Cemetery in Bairdstown.

Mr. Young, a native of Sparta, was retired as a lieutenant with the U.S. Navy after 21 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Lilburn First Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Martha Payne Young; sons, Richard R.

Young of Dunwoody and Wesley B. Young III of Newnan; six grandchildren; and five will begin at noon. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Duluth. Mr. Blake, a native of Hall County, was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Duluth.

Surviving are his wife, Rosa Harris Blake; children, Alonzo Blake of Atlanta, Odis Blake Jr. of Commerce, Willie B. Blake of Alpharetta, Vennie McDowell of Duluth and Henrietta Robinson of Atlanta; his mother, Lena Blake of Atlanta; sisters, Eunice Hill and Marie Woods of Atlanta; 14 grandchildren; and 11 greatgrandchildren. Shirley Lee Dills Shirley Lee Dills, 48, of Duluth, died Saturday. The funeral will be at noon today at Grace Baptist Church, Auburn.

Burial will be in Walnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Lawrenceville. Ms. Dills was a nursing assistant at the Gwinnett Medical Center, Lawrenceville. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Surviving are her children, Brian Gravitt, Jerry Gravitt Jr.

and Ken Gravitt of Duluth; and siblings, Jean Billew, Carlton Dills, Clifford Dills and Stanley Dills of Dacula and Irma Her-rington of Maysville. Arrangements were being handled by Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Lawrenceville. Monetta Pirkle Doye Monetta Pirkle Doye, 81, of Atlanta, died Sunday. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Harrell Grove Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Doye was a charter member of Harrell Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Willie Doye; and three siblings, Leila Banister and Thurman Pirkle of Atlanta and J.T. Pirkle of Lithia Springs. Steve Evans Steve Evans of Suwanee died Thursday.

He was 59. The funeral was Sunday at Bill Head Funeral Home in Tucker, with burial in Mount Harmony Ernestine Banks Ernestine Banks, 82, of Duluth died Monday. The funeral will be at 1 1 a.m. Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home Chapel in Geraldine, Ala. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery in Albertville, Ala.

Mrs. Banks, a native of Albertville, was a homemaker. Surviving are her daughters, Rebecca Luciotti of Geraldine, and Nina Masters of Duluth; brother, W.G. Banks of Rollins, five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Local arrangements are being handled by Bill Head Funeral Home, Duluth Chapel.

Hattie Bowles Hattie Reid Leathers Bowles, 88, of Duhjth died Sunday. The funeral will be today at 11 a.m. at R.T. Patterson Funeral Home, Norcross Chapel. Burial will be at Peachtree Memorial Park.

Mrs. Bowles was a homemaker and a member of Victory in Jesus Baptist Church, Duluth. Surviving are a daughter, Laura Lee Berry of Duluth; three grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren. Johnnie G. Bramblett Johnnie Grace Bramblett, 83, of Buford died Saturday.

The funeral was held Monday at Wages Oak Lawn Chapel, with burial in Gwinnett Memorial Park. Mrs. Bramblett, a native of Fulton County, was a member of Old Suwanee Baptist Church. Surviving are her children, Benny Bramblett and Betty Jo Mauldin of Lawrenceville, and Mary Jean Stephens Of Buford; and sisters, Elizabeth Couch of Lilburn, Runelle Daniel of Lawrenceville, Helen Kinney of Lawrenceville and Willie Mae Thrift of Lilburn. Evans was a retired vice president and general manager in the printing industry. Surviving are his wife, Fawn Evans; children, Dyron Evans of Stockbridge, Jeff Evans of Suwanee, Randall Evans of Duluth, Tim Garner and Shelia Thompson of Lawrenceville and Steven Evans of Kansas City, siblings, Roger Evans of Lithonia, Frarikie Harris of Hartwell, Betty Hart of Jacksonville and Connie Waymier of Portland, and nine grandchildren. "Dick" Harris, 78, of Lawrenceville died Sunday. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Harris was a paint-, and-body auto repairman for Bagget's Chevrolet and Nash Chevrolet for 40 years.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Margie Clark Harris; daughter, Carolyn Reynolds of Lawrenceville; siblings, Lavinia Bradford, Lucille Drummond and Jeanette Samples of Lawrenceville and Alvin Harris of Greensboro, N.C.; a grandson and two great-grandsons. Hudon, 82, of Lawrenceville, died Friday. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Tom M. Wages Funeral Service Snellville. Graveside services will be Thursday in Holy Cross Cemetery in Bemedji, with arrangements by Olson-Swartz Funeral Home in Bemedji.

Mrs. Hudon was a native of New Jersey and had been employed as a clerk in the banking industry. Surviving are a son, Victor C. Hudon of Lawrenceville; stepdaughter, Virginia Oakgrove of Andras Kocsis 68, of Lithonia died Friday. The funeral Mass was held Monday evening at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Snellville Chapel.

Burial will be in Hungary. A native of Buj, Hungary, Mr. Kocsis was a retired coal miner. He was of the Catholic faith. Surviving are his children, Andras Kocsis III, Erika Kocsis, Ildiko Kocsis and Jozsef Kocsis of Hungary and Steve Kocsis of Lithonia; brother, John Kocsis of New Jersey; and 13 grandchildren.

Hugh Lackey Hugh Lackey, 76, of Daniels-ville, formerly of Buford, died Friday. The funeral was Sunday at Freewill Pentecostal Church of God, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rev. Lackey, a native of Old Milton County, was a minister at Freewill Pentecostal Church of God for 22 years. Surviving are his wife, Stella Pruitt Lackey; children, Ann Christopher and Henry Lackey of Lawrenceville, Hugh Lackey and Viola McClure of Flowery Branch; stepchildren, Amanda Brogdon, Matthew Brogdon and Robert Brogdon of Danielsville, Richard Brogdon of Jonesboro, Patricia Neighbors and Lisa Rob-erson of Buford; 20 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Tapp Funeral Home in Buford handled arrangements. Mildred E. Livers Mildred E. Livers, 71, of Logan-ville, died Sunday. The funeral will be today at noon at Wages Snellville Chapel.

Burial will be in Corinth Memorial Gardens in Loganville. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon at the funeral home. Mrs. Livers, a native of Loogoo-tee, was a homemaker.

She Emory McHugh Jr. Emory "E.L" McHugh 74, of Lawrenceville died Sunday. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today in the Walnut Grove Baptist Church, Lawrenceville, with burial in the church cemetery. Mr.

McHugh, a native of Gwinnett County, was a retired materials worker with General Motors' Lakewood Plant. He was a member and deacon of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church and a 50-year Mason with the Sweetwater Masonic Lodge No. 421 He was a U.S. Army veteran. Surviving are his wife, Ruby Holt McHugh; children, Linda Cochran of Douglasville, Ruth Flanigan of Winder, Emory L.

McHugh III of Fayetteville and Larry McHugh and Wayne McHugh of Lawrenceville; sisters, Lois Hopkins of Lilburn, Doris Mahaffey of Athens and Shirley Moon of Lawrenceville; eight grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren.
