-Composite Proof 0:06 0:00 Ania Dolinska, 22, GSU tennis player By SAEED AHMED A Georgia State University student accompanying her best friend on a wedding day plane ride to the Grand Canyon died Saturday when the single-engine craft crashed, killing everyone on board. Ania Dolinska, a member of the Georgia State tennis team, was in Nevada to attend the wedding of Milena Stanoycheva. The two were like sisters, said GSU tennis coach Andy Smith, and Ms. had asked Ms. Dolinska to fly to Nevada as a surprise.

Before the wedding Saturday night, Ms. Dolinska, 22, of Atlanta and Ms. Stanoy- cheva, 26, of Greenville, S.C., decided to go on an aerial tour of the national park. The plane crashed several miles northwest of the park airport about 5:30 p.m., the Federal Aviation Administration said. Also killed were Ms.

Stanoy- Glenn Howle, 34, of Greenville and his father, Jerry Howle, 57, of Reno, who was the pilot. Investigators know what caused the crash, said Donn Walker, an FAA spokesman. The pilot had been talking with an air traffic controller when contact with the plane was lost. Ms. Dolinska, a native of Warsaw, Poland, was a senior accounting major.

She transferred to Georgia State in the fall from Clemson University and was one of seven players on the tennis team, Mr. Smith said. She was No. 5 singles at Atlantic Sun Conference tournament. was pretty easygoing, but once she got on the court, she really hated to Mr.

Smith said. Memorial service plans will be announced. Ms. survivors include her parents, Maria Dolinska and Grzegorz Dolinski, and a sister, all of Warsaw. The Associated Press contributed to this article.

Ania Dolinska was killed in a plane crash during an aerial tour of the Grand Canyon.
