Named as the largest night parade in the Southeast, the Grand Parade is a two-hour extravaganza featuring national participants & local marching bands, floats, local government and law enforcement officials, clowns and much more.

But the biggest draw is always the Edison Festival of Light Grand Parade, which attracts thousands of spectators to downtown Fort Myers every year. Crowd estimates go as high as about 200,000. The Grand Parade became a night parade in 1953 in honor of Edison's invention of the commercial light bulb.

The Town hosts a fireworks show that begins at 9 p.m. and lasts for 20 minutes. The fireworks are launched from the Gulf around Times Square. Traffic is typically heavy for this event as is the demand for parking, especially in the Downtown District/Times Square/Pier areas.

6:00 PM – Parade begins featuring over 100 illuminated entries. Entries featuring community groups and supporters from around Fort Worth.

Over the years, the Main Street Electrical Parade has come and gone, with its most recent appearance at a U.S. Disney resort being at Disneyland from April to September 2022. The show at Tokyo Disneyland, entitled “Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade: DreamLights,” still runs at the park.

Main Street Electrical Parade Parade in summers at Disneyland beginning on June 17, 1972, and ending Nov. 25, 1996. The parade, featuring half a million tiny lights on floats themed primarily to Disney movies, became one of the most beloved traditions at Disneyland.

The parade ended its run at Magic Kingdom on October 9, 2016, in preparation for a limited-time return to Disneyland Park in California, which was scheduled to run from January 20 to June 18, 2017, before being extended to August 20, 2017.

Celebrate Easter Sunday at the 80th annual Dunbar Easter Parade in Fort Myers. The parade will begin at 3 p.m. and start at the four-way intersection of Ford Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Parade starts at 7pm we usually start moving around 7:30. Beads, "Parade Punch" , beer and water will be provided.

Snap a photo with Santa, sample Dunkin' Donuts holiday drinks, try out the NASCAR booth's simulator and more. The parade begins at 5:30 p.m., and the Wintrust Fireworks Spectacular show over the Chicago River is scheduled for 7 p.m.
