Why won't Kaiser let me log in? ›

There are several reasons why your user ID and password may not be recognized. To solve the problem, please try the following: Check for correct capitalization (user IDs are not case-sensitive, but passwords are case-sensitive). Make sure your computer's "Caps Lock" and "Num Lock" keys are off.

Experiencing technical issues with the Kaiser Permanente app? Uninstalling and reinstalling an app can solve most technical issues. Uninstalling an app removes the app data, cache, and user data. It may also reset the app settings.

Second opinions are expected. If you aren't comfortable asking your doctor for a name, check with your insurance company, a local medical society, or the nearest university hospital.

The report, by Mark Roberts, M.D., chief of medicine at Kaiser's Vallejo Medical Center, said many physicians are leaving Kaiser for "less demanding jobs" elsewhere or cutting back on their Kaiser work schedules, resulting in a 13 percent turnover rate over the last two to three years.

Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc. will cover a second opinion consultation from a non-Permanente Medical Group physician only if the care has been preauthorized by a Permanente Medical Group.
