Hey, did you know that minifigures are no strangers to outer space? Three LEGO minifigures made the trip in 2011 as part of NASA’s Jupiter-bound Juno spacecraft. The three figures were modeled after the Roman god Jupiter, his wife Juno, and famous astronomer Galileo Galilei. Other Fun Facts: Unlike standard minifigures, these three were made out of special space-grade aluminum! The Juno spacecraft went into orbit around Jupiter in July, 2016.
