Hey, did you know that minifigures are no strangers to outer space? Three LEGO minifigures made the trip in 2011 as part of NASA’s Jupiter-bound Juno spacecraft. The three figures were modeled after the Roman god Jupiter, his wife Juno, and famous astronomer Galileo Galilei. Other Fun Facts: Unlike standard minifigures, these three were made out of special space-grade aluminum! The Juno spacecraft went into orbit around Jupiter in July, 2016. When Juno’s mission is done, it will be allowed to crash into the planet Jupiter Now check out the new “Will It Launch” episode, as Gabe and Professor Smiley try to get three LEGO rockets to blast off!
