We found this restaurant on Google and we went in twice with my family. On our fist visit, we meet chef Bernard after a delicious meal, and we decide to repeat the second day, but to my surprise after ordering for a beef rib steak the chef brought me a pork rib plate, I turned it back and he assured me of changing it and the second time he brought again the pork ribs. I’m a meat lover & cooker so I knew what I had in front of me, but he assured me twice that he cooked the beef ribs. The difference was clear as the day before I ordered for the same plate and it’s was quiere different, so he lied that it’s a baby ribs from South Africa, you can google the difference in both steak bones and pork bones, but he took me for a fool, I greeted him and eat it, because it was already late, we got to the restaurant at 10.38.pm. So After 2 trails I did eat it because it was late and I was hungry..my wife is witness as she also tested it. So people be careful of this Chef Bernard .. if you go there, make sure you know what they are giving you to eat there. They could be cooking something else there. Because he lied to my face twice. At first he apologized that they haces mixed the beef ribs with the pork ribs in the same box but it was a lie. And I told Raymond the waitress that attended to us, that he gave me what I dint order and did it twice. He could have told me they don’t have it and I would have other for something else ..this is bad for my people .. I imagine what he will have cooked for people who doesn’t know much about meat . Please be careful when you go to this restaurant, the pasta is good. But be careful of the meat. Please see the image below, on our first visit he cooked the first image and on the second one show pork ribs. Thank you and stay blessed.We will definitely not go back there anymore .

I was looking to authentic Italian cuisine in Lagos Nigeria. Beautiful ambience inside the blowfish hotel, had an aerated sitting arrangement and excellent service.I followed my waitress recommendations for food and drink, ordered some Alfredo (they make it spicy on request), and a red cherry mock tail. I highly recommend this restaurant as you look to avenues to escape Lagos.

It's definitely family friendly, the staff were super courteous and had this warm, toasty ambience while you sit and watch the pizza dough being tossed and stretched as you eat.. very nice.

Very tasty and clean, my children very like the Margarita pizza and the creamy pasta.The service was very good, the music was amazing. Hope to enjoy there again soon.

Good place with decent food. Indoor seating is limited if you are looking for air conditioned ambience although outdoor seating is not bad except for really warm / humid days. Food variety & quality is good but it would would be helpful if the menu can be refreshed.

If you are into creamy/sweet palates, then Italian cuisine might just be for you. I wanted to try a different cuisine and even though I asked for my dish to be spicy, I still could not deal with the taste of fresh cream and cheese (which is in almost all their dish on the menu)

Nice meal!The ambience is super cool - an elevated veranda overseeing a beautiful pool.Ideal for a romantic date, hangout or official meetings with client. You can get your favorite Italian dishes here.Prices on the menu has been updated on their system but not on the menu. Hence instead of paying about 15500 per meal, we paid about 19400 even though they said increase was only 20%.Apart from that, the servers were courteous and nice as they went about their day quietly.I particularly would recommend the blend of juice called Chlorophyll. Very refreshing!!!!I would visit again to enjoy their pizza!

Visited La Veranda with very high hopes. Pasta and Pizza after all are originally Italian cuisine but I was disappointed. We had Le Veranda Pizza, co*cktails and Pollo carbonara- which is creamy pasta with bacon and chicken on the side. Pizza wasn’t great and neither was the pasta. Food was salty. Chicken was too dry. Nothing excites me here. I really expected better.

It's an excellent place fine dining and also excellent music. And the Italian food is outstanding. Service is top knoch. All smiling staff

The ambience and the food here was good. The pool side and outdoor setting is covid friendly because we had a farewell party for some colleagues and this was the only suggested place.They have an Italian, Lebanese and Nigerian menu so there are varieties to choose from.Really lovely place.

La Veranda is a very nice space. It's great for a romantic dinner or for a large group. The outdoor space is better for large groups. (We were about 16 in my group).We weren't sure how many we'd be, but as people arrived, the waiters added more tables and chairs sometimes without being prompted.The food is great although it took a while to get it. Especially when they took the first orders. For subsequent orders, food was on time.If you want to take pictures, it's better to stay inside. The outdoor space isn't great for pictures but if you want to smoke, sit there.

Was worried about what to eat in Lagos as in South Africa we are spoilt for choice.BL was a great venue. Clean, professional, well decorated and good value for money.Most of all I had a great meal.19/08/22 - ended up going here again on 17/08/22 and the pizza was just perfect!!!

The skewers full of meat were huge and worth to eat if you are a big eater with a big appettite.

Nice place, very comfortable and spacious. Pizza is solid, thin crust, full of cheese etc. when they say it’s spicy, trust them 😂. Pizza is big! Sufficient wine choices and they also have very strong espresso. You can sit inside or outside. Smoking area available as well.

A very bad experience. No proper hygiene. I asked waiter to change the beer glass since it was not cleaned, they just changed the glass but not the beer.Ordered Lebanese food, it was good and taste. Liked the peta with hummus. Pizza was giving but odd taste(like dough kept for more than 2 days).ExpensiveAnd more over, I asked for peanuts with beer, they denied. As we ordered for 2 beers with 20 minutes gap for 2 different people.Employees are working with rules and regulations but no liberty to take extra step to achieve customer satisfaction.

B.L has a variety of options on the menu. The food was good. Good and tasty appetizer options. The mains and drinks were also good. The service was very fast. The atmosphere could be better

This restaurant is very cozy and quiet, I liked the ambiance and the feel of the place.It has a smoking section for those who want to smoke, and the entire space and decor works. It’s spacious, they have high chairs for children if you have children, the restroom is nice but a little small though.They serve mostly Lebanese cuisine tho, I had chicken breast, chips and salad because it was the most familiar thing in the menu for me. The salad was really nice and the chicken breast tasted great.They also serve pizza, different pizzas.They have a semi wide range of co*cktails to choose from, though they didn’t have strawberries when I went to couldn’t get any strawberry based drink.I like their staff, they were courteous, helpful and very polite.All in all, I had a nice experience and will probably go back there.

Very good restaurant. Very impressed with the menu and the drinks options. The food is excellent and the wait time is average. Friendly staff, professional and quite familiar with the menu.and can offer good advice where you are conflicted. Location of the restaurant is quite good although the parking might be a challenge in a full day. Highly recommended.

This is my fourth time visiting Sailor's lounge and still never been disappointed. Although it didn't have the usual crowd I have accustomed it to but it was quite busy. With loud music on one side and the cool breeze from the lagoon on the other, the lounge has always been one of my best go to places in Lekki. Nicely made meals, but the drinks were a little off today, and great music everytime. An amazing ambience especially at nightAmbience ⭐⭐⭐Food ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐Drinks ⭐⭐Location ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Its quiet and not too rowdy at this time. The view beside the sea is awesome. Its airy and has an outdoor & indoor sitting. They have a variety of drinks and meals. The meals are expensive though but the appearance is lovely. In general, its a lovely spot to hangout especially in this period. The staff are courteous and friendly as well and there's ample Parking lot. The lighting there is also beautiful. You just feel at ease there. Note that the prices on the menu are without VAT so be prepared.

This place is cozy.Large parking lot.It has this ship feel plus it's at the edge of the raging sea.

Lagos restaurants never cease to amaze me. I went to Sailors lounge to meet up with an old friend. When I got there I decided to sit at the deck to have a good view of the water (which smells tbh) and while we were talking the waitress dropped an empty bottle of Jameson on the table. We didn’t have any clue what it was for , until we asked for the menu. Then we were told that we had to buy the bottle placed on the table or something equivalent if we wanted to sit at the deck. Needless to say , we were shocked lol. How will you be telling me what to order? Why weren’t we informed before we sat down? I can only imagine that this is a way of trying coerce customers into spending large sums so they don’t embarrass themselves by standing up. It was very distasteful to me.Onto the main review , the food was alright nothing crazy. There was a great live band playing that day but it was very very loud. Having a conversation was so hard. It felt like I was in a club. Overall great view of the water , okay food but a bit too loud and the bottle stuff was just ridiculous.

Don't waste your time or money here. My husband and I went here to listen to the live music and enjoy the water, only to be told we couldn't order drinks and that they were only offering bottles for the night. They wouldn't even let us get water. Funny thing is, everyone around us had drinks with no bottles in sight. So we left. We were going to bring our family here for a pre-wedding event, but luckily we found The Bay Lounge up the street. Good food, live music, great drinks, and private cabanas that are first come first serve. Service was excellent. And the food doesn't take any time to come out.

Food Is ok, but I would not say excellent. Fine for the service which is quite fast. Beer is to avoid because it come already at ambient temperature.

I visited Slice Lagos with a few friends for dinner. The atmosphere was laid-back and casual, and the decor was rustic and inviting. We started with some delicious garlic knots and a pitcher of beer, and then shared a few pizzas. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The service was attentive and friendly, and we never felt rushed or pressured to leave.

The whole feel of sailors lounge is cozy and cool. I love that most of the establishment sits atop water, the view of water from outside is also beautiful; this lends to the breezy nature present. The DJ present when I visited met us with old school sounds, and that was refreshing. The service is pretty fast.My only issue (which is quite minor) is that the restroom isn't lit better and the mirror isn't a little larger and higher (a niche complaint I'd say).

This restaurant has a beautiful view, especially with the fact that it is on the rooftop. They are also very particular about proper dressing before entering the restaurant, which is awesome.Food and drinks are slightly on the high side but it is good value for money. The waiters are also very friendly.The rest room (for the ladies) has a nice powder room (with a nice couch and mirror) to touch up your makeup. If you like sef, you can take a nap in the powder room 😀Lighting is also very good for picturesI had baked fish fillet with a margarita and a chocolate brownie served with ice cream as my dessert. I also ate out of my friend’s strawberry cheesecake cos it was enticing 😍

I love the ambiance at 788, not particularly because of the decor but because it's really spacious unlike most restaurants in Lagos today.Also, the restaurant is quiet, and the grand piano with the pianist adds another level of sophistication to the space.Of course, the food is seemingly overpriced, budget is between 40k per person for a full-course meal including a drink.The only reason Im giving them 4 stars rather than 5 is that the food prep time is excruciatingly slowwwww.At a point we were convinced it was just one person working in the kitchen because it made no sense how slow our food took to arrive.We ended up having only drinks and our starters and decided to pack our main course because it was really late and we couldn't wait.

I came here for a proposal.I particularly loved the view and the ocean breeze as well.Food honestly wasn’t so great and a bit overpriced however considering the location - it explains why.The interior is truly beautiful and the fact that it’s not well lit , it had a warm dinner feel to it.The service was good as well. Noticed the side table thing they do to organise the table n the food before placing it on your actual table….oh you also get a warm nice loaf of bread before your order.The sea food platter wasn’t great either nor was the rice. The steak was just okay. Didn’t have an extraordinary thing to it.Overall good experience nonetheless.

The atmosphere was good. The food was good as well however, there was a dead fly on my salad. I notified the wait staff and I removed the salad from my plate. There was also no running water in the ladies bathroom. Thankfully I travel with hand sanitizer but it's not the same as washing your hands.

Great ambience, very friendly and professional staff. I loved the sea view. I was impressed by the complimentary meal (bread and butter) that was provided while waiting for the main course and it arrived in a timely manner. I had vegetqble rice with chicken, the meal was tasty. It's also a nice location for group dinner. I would definitely live to visit again.

It was really nice to see that the standard I expected from Lagoon (Seaside Terrace) hasn't dropped even after a few years. Food was great as usual, and my drink (Tequila Sunrise) was strong, lol. It was still a place to spend a nice, chill Sunday evening with friends.Only snag so far is service... that hasn't quite improved. Wait time for food is not bad at all, but the waiting staff could be a bit more attentive/responsive, we think.Still love it at Lagoon! 👌🏾

Lagoon restaurant offers an excellent seafood experience on Thursdays. The co*cktails are really good too. Despite the challenge of booking reservations due to its popularity, the waterside atmosphere adds to the charm. the wait for a table was lengthy, but the exceptional quality of the seafood and co*cktails makes up for it. Parking available (might be a bit complex during peak hours). Service was fair.

Great co*cktails. Diverse menu (Lebanese, Indian, etc.). Not too pricey. It’s by the ocean and it can get breezy sometimes so you should probably layer up. Good for after work hangouts or casual meet-ups with friends.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Thursday catch of the day. Was a really nice experience - you choose your fish and seafood, and then it’s prepared for you. Pricey but worth it. Make sure to come really early - 5pm or so or you won’t get a table!

I have very mixed feelings about my experience here. First, I think it’s safe to say daytime outdoor dining is not for me. It was quite hot! I had read a review about the cheese naan bread so I ordered it. It was okay-ish. I didn’t love it neither did I hate it. Juice was not great but the banana latte was fine. Pizza was a huge let down. For what was called chicken pizza, chicken was almost nowhere in sight. For some reason, I feel this would be a better place at night if they serve food like suya, fried yam and beer. I’m not sure I’d go back though.

I have been to this place twice and overall my experience is good , this place is bit costly compared to other restaurants but the open sitting location is good which gives you a view you cant get at other places .The variety of food they serves is good and the ambience is also good , i have not tried Indian cuisine but tried pizza fish and non veg platter , pizza , shawarma i found pizza was not as per my expectation other delicacies were fine .Overall a good place and can be tried again for its food and ambience 😉

Great seafood that you pick yourself. Happens on Thursdays. Go early because the line gets very long. It’s probably the best seafood I’ve had in Lagos. FYI they have an off season from mid-June till October.

Only been for the seafood Thursdays so that's what I'm reviewing.The seafood is caught fresh that day from the Atlantic Ocean. You select what you want and it gets made for you exactly how you want (fried, roasted, etc). If you love seafood then you will absolutely love it.I tried steak from the menu and it was rather meh but the freshly cooked seafood is definitely of the highest quality.You get to eat by the water which is really nice and cool.However, if you are there for the seafood Thursdays then be ready to wait and wait and wait and wait. It absolutely takes forever to get to your turn. And I mean forever. You also need to have booked a table.I'm not a seafood person and absolutely hate waiting for food. However, if you love seafood and you are the most patient person on earth then you absolutely have to visit here.

A very nice waterfront restaurant with various themes makes it a perfect place for an evening dinner..Ambience is beautiful with a live kitchen..Only food and serving needs improvement..

Seaside Terrace RestaurantA brightly-lit, wide open, airy and terraced section of the iconic Lagoon Restaurant. Juxtaposing the lagoon, the views are expansive and calming.Nice aesthetics too.With a reasonably wide collection of meals and drinks, the crowd here is mature and sophisticated.I visited on a Thursday, during one of their weekly seafood point-and-grill (my own term) nights. Basically, there is an assortment of freshly fished seafood - Lobster, Prawn, Shrimp, Fish, Octopus.You make your selection and your order is served grilled. Fantastic.The place is usually packed on the Thursday Seafood Night and you may struggle to find a seat after 7:30pm.With several other restaurants in the Lagoon complex, parking can be limited from 7pm, take note.I was happy with the preparation quality, service time and presentation. I will visit again to try some regular meals.Highly recommended for personal, couple or group hangouts….especially for millennials and above. 😁

Ocean basket is your go to for anything seafood.I had prawns and rice but didn't expect that the prawns would come with the shells, I would have preferred them out, making it easier to eat.Their service is great, overall.

I had the Kingflip fillet and Crumbed prawn tails and I enjoyed them. My drink tasted watered down.I like how calm the setting is but the interior space needs a bit of maintenance.

So my friends and I decided to check out Ocean basket in Victoria Island.. It was pretty amazing. We got the platters to share.. The food was nice, but I didn't like the fish. Apart from that, it was splendid

Chilled , child friendly . Visited on a Sunday noon with my family. Their prices are quite affordable , service is superb . Kenny attended to us and he was really attentive.The platter for two is quite large, I’ll recommend you think again before ordering if you don’t have a large appetite . We had to take away some portion as my husband and I couldn’t finish ours . The juice is cool for the afternoon .Overall we got value for our money and would recommend to anyone who wants to try seafood in Lagos .

The food was really good enjoyed my platter, welcome bread was tasty although you could tell it was microwaved so by the time I wanted to eat it was going hard. Had a strawberry daiquiri which was good too. Although what I found weird was the waiter made me transfer my co*cktail and water bill to his personal account. I questioned it but he said he would use cash to pay it? I knew it was a scam but had no choice as I was alone and needed to leave. Would go back again but not alone to avoid being scammed.

Customer experience was top notch.Nothing as good as walking into a restaurant with a warm welcome and beautiful smile.. the meal was spectacular and they have platters for all number of crowd. Great food , lovely ambience nice background music very subtle great for relaxation. Nice outdoor sit out. But the food is great and they listen to your every specific order.. also suggest improvised option on the menu.

Ocean Basket is another good restaurant we dine in as a family. My children will fly the flag for Ocean Basket anyway anytime. Good and quality food, fantastic ambiance, and great customer service.

If you love taking pictures, this place has many spots you can take amazing pictures. The screens are also good and the staff are friendly.We ordered their Chicken and Beef Tacos and I wouldn't say I enjoyed it I one bit! The chicken taco was okay but the beef taco wasn't good. Couldn't try other dishes because the taco experience wasn't good.Maybe... Just maybe I might visit and try out other dishes.

I enjoyed their meal but the wait time was long. The food is affordable and the restaurant is spacious.

I’m always particular about the food, and they scored high marks in this aspect. Delicious food, and the chef always put up a show in the Bunyaki.The general section isn’t as good or does it have as many options. It could also be much cleaner. But it’s a good place overall and not harsh on the pockets.

This is a very nice restaurant with serene environment. The staffs are welcoming and the service is really nice. The food is top notch and good serving. I had a birthday dinner with my friends there and it was worth it. The food price is okay and not too expensive. With at least 7k you will eat and drink. It also has a bar side and other private areas. You can get other cuisines there like Japanese, Mexican etc. In all it is a place I will recommend.

Terra Kulture is an educational and recreational organization set up in 2003 to promote the richness and diversity of Nigerian languages, arts and culture.I got there and at first didn't feel it maybe I was just at the outdoor venue screening my favorite movie for 2022... Yes, now my favorite for 2022, titled Something Special ❤️.If you haven't seen it, what are you waiting for... Please, go see the movie, Something Special. It is an amazing movie... 3 different Stories, 3 different Special Moment, all with something Special to it. I deeply recommend that movie.Now back to Terra Kulture, my first time there was just brief, same as my second as I went to see a movie but noticed the Restaurant... It truly is famous for its unique decor and ambience. I even saw on one of the sear, Tree made for this table was felled in the compound and I jokingly asked for the specific, landmark etc. The table, chair, food tray and plate were all Made of rustic wood and bamboo, it provides that comfortable blend of Africa and modern. I also saw the stairs and it was also wooden with tree like flowers🌹. And, I could see a lot of awards, pictures etc.For The Arena, I didn't have a chance to see it because they had an ongoing movie therein so was bothered and didn't want any embarrassment.What I didn't like, was the fact that I actually thought the other gate was locked... It wasn't, I mean, it was opened but they didn't or maybe couldn't direct people through that part to the Arena. They had to make them pass our screening center and I was turned into CSO, chief security officer, to direct people to the Arena. Some went to the restaurant, thinking it was arena.Would appreciate if people were directly properly but in all I had a great time there.

The Terra Kulture experience I always second to none. Every meal tastes like home. The ambience and soft music, the cultural look of the waiters brings Nigeria and by extension, Africa to life. The interior design and space management is interesting. The outdoor area is lovely too but I prefer to stay inside, it gives an entirely different vibe, it reminds me of my roots. That place is also a reminder of some good moments with the great Sound Sultan. A legend is gone and will me missed forever.

A place where certain personal skills are taught, worked on and improved.The Terra Arts Gallery contains both ancient and contemporary art works. It's a hub for talents and creativity. Here, there's an annual art auction and exhibition that connects artists, businessmen and collectors.The Terra Arena is a performance hall where you can hold concerts, stage performances and also see movies on their led screen. A space that can contain up to 5000 people.The Terra Bookstore has cultural books and journals that showcases Nigeria's rich culture and Africa as well.So I visited the above centers, watched a stage play titled Motherland, it was very interesting featuring some popular Nigerian actors. It was thrilling to watch very talented guys who can act, dance and sing altogether.The gallery had very beautiful artworks that shows Nigeria's rich culture and certain parts of the country. They sell nice art pieces here including jeweleries.At the restaurant, everything was superb from the reception, the waiters and the meal itself. You really want to try their co*cktails.Really a great time here.

The ambiance is cool and welcoming, the food tasted great.It took a long time for my team and I who visited to be served and some orders were mixed up.The book and Art gallery is beautiful. Though quite small but the pieces are great.They have a karaoke session. Friday night 6:30. It's cozy and heart-warming.I recommend the Go-slow drink for fruit lovers and the vanilla mojito for lovers of all things milky.

Terra Kulture is a beautiful place to have meetings as well as hang out with friends and family. I like the African and homely touch to the environment. The greenery is also good. I enjoyed the food too, but it took a while before it was served after ordering.Terra Kulture has also got a book and art store with some other interesting stuff for sale. All in all, it's a cool place to chill or/and meet.

Had fun . The food was good, especially the basmati fried rice , highly recommended . The peppered snail was mid , and also the “something Africana dish”, can’t really remember the name was mid as well.My major highlight was seeing an outdoor stage play titled “Anatomy of woman” .Terra-culture is a decent place to hangout with friends. Attended the Motherland Musical at Terra Kulture. It was very entertaining!There are different spaces within the building. The compound encompasses an art gallery, arts and crafts store, naija bookshop, restaurant and theatre.I love the aesthetic of the place! Very artsy and Nigerian.The food was good and affordable as well. I have to applaud them for the generous portion of ketchup they served with the fried chips.Tip: The stairway within the restaurant is perfect for pictures/videos.I will be definitely go there some other time.

An elegant and well-run steakhouse hiding in plain sight. Talindo’s is known for their Steaks. I hadn’t been here in maybe 10 years so my recollection on the experience was positive but vague. I had the Jack Daniel’s Steak which I hear is a Signature dish and.. sadly, I was thoroughly underwhelmed.. a real disappointment.. perhaps because I make possibly the best steaks in Lagos and my standards are exceptionally high or because cold unseasoned steaks are not my thing. However, everything else was of pleasurable quality. One more sad thing, the bread was not fresh.Will return, hopefully before the next decade.

I came here from America and I came based on reviews from places near my hotel. Well, I didn't feel very welcomed when entering by our waiter. He was very rude and grumpy older gentlemen who tried to discourage the people I was with to order only Nigerian type dishes when they wanted to try something different. Then I ordered a steak medium rare and it was completely rare. Never asked how the food was after bringing it and was quite rude to the people I was with. Then stood there the entire time staring at us. Another waiter came to assist the people I was with on some of the food. I wish the bald younger guy was our waiter instead! Never got offered dessert and when got the bill it said we had bread and we were never given or offered bread either. Definitely wouldn't return. Only thing about my food I liked was the potatoes! Disappointed for the price. Steak wasn't good quality either. Prices were also different than advertised online.

The Penne vodka pasta at Talindo is the best I’ve eaten in Lagos. I always have it without the vodka and it tastes amazing, they have great service too. Their desserts taste great too, I always enjoy eating there!

Nothing spectacular. Guess I will need to visit more to understand why this is a favourite with locals. Or maybe I got the wrong good impressions. The bruschetta was uber creamy and not my thing. The mushroom sauce was spectacular if I must say but the cod was absolutely tasteless. They make their own ice cream, the rum and raisins was not bad. I love how this place serves Italian food yet has such a Nigerian feel to it. “The Nigerian Gather House” they call it. Their pizzas are firewood made, they have a good pasta menu....tried their ravioli in pink sauce and loved it. There’s also gelato and a lot of retro pieces like the typewriter, record player and the Nigerian touches....ankara throw pillows, straw mat roof. I loved the look and the ambience of the place. The notes on the wall were really interesting too. Especially the one on how to eat seafood properly😂The waiter was really courteous, and I didn't even notice the wait time. I wish I got more complimentary bread though😩The food was nice. It was my first time trying a seafood dish, and I discovered what I'd like to try again (and what I'd like to switch out next time -prawns!), but I don't regret it!I also liked the part of getting a sweet after the meal. Little things like that matter, and I'm pleased that they know.

Eniola and Gift could not have done any more to make our dining experience any more enjoyable. Nothing was too much for them, their hospitality was excellent. And the food was so well cooked. I am totally disappointed with this service. First it was me paying N76,850 for a family platter and the delivery guy flashing me with his phone. Who would expect that after paying so much for a lousy meal, I’ll have to use my call credit to call a random caller who turned out to be the delivery guy to come and get my order downstairs? Secondly, I ordered for a family platter and the next thing they brought only had 4 pieces of fish with French fries and rice that barely filled half of that popular restaurant transparent bowl. How dare them sell that as a package in the family platter. I literally got scammed by these people. This food is not even enough to feed 2 talk less of more. I am so disappointed. Upon calling to complaint to the manager, he had the guts to tell me to come back next time and I’ll have more food. Who are these people? I have never been so disappointed with a service as this. Consumer protection agency should look this place up!

The food was just there, the standards have depreciated and the thrill is no longer there, yet the prices keep heading for the moon.The buns were stale, the supposed milkshake was so light and watery, the hot chocolate was made with milo and regular milk.

I have been to Ocean Basket so many times and it’s my go too for Sea food, I love calamari and they have amazing Calamari. I always have a good time when I visit ocean basket in all their locations not necessarily the one in ICM.

Great customer service! They take their time to explain the menu and content to you. The food was quite tasty and filling. It has a beautiful view. I would have given 5stars but for particular incident. They allowed people with talking drum and trumpet to storm the place in the name of surprise birthday for a customer without recourse to other customers. The decor of Noir Restaurant is elegant and will not disappoint. I was very impressed with the ambience, nice music which was not too loud, and very attentive servers.My partner and I got seasonal veg, the roasted chicken with spicy honey mustard dressing, and the roasted pork dish with garlic potatoes.The food is cooked well, and portions are generous for a fine dining establishment. Almost everything was to die for: the texture and flavours of the chicken, the vegetables, and the potatoes were all perfect. However, I was disappointed by two things:1) The bread basket is cold and comes with very cold butter which is impossible to spread on the bread. It would be nice if the bread was warmed up a bit and the butter kept at room temperature.2) I did ask for a recommendation, either the pork or pizza, and was advised to have the pork. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the protein. The pork is cooked well, but the flavour is not great. The meat itself is quite plain tasting and seems to only be seasoned with salt. The cooked apples which are to compliment the pork only taste of sugar and do not taste well at all. I tried advising the ssrver of this, but i dont think she understood. The pork dish would be so much better with less sugar on the apples, and an addition of an acid - such as soy sauce, and also maybe gochujang, cinammon, chinese five spice, etc. Or even change the the pork belly dish altogether - perhaps cooking in lemon pepper, garlic and rosemary, or a char siu style with hoisin sauce. I really hope they change this dish up. It is a shame to waste this meat, and i would have definitely had the pizza if I knew how the pork would taste.However, dont let my rant discourage from visiting this spot. Everything else is wonderful; if you can afford to visit a fine dining restaurant with a special someone - Noir is the place to be.The prices are that of a sit down restaurant/ in the US - and similar to the US, the taxes and service charge are added afterwards.

This was an amazing food tasting experience. So far this is the best fine dining I have experienced on Lagos Island. All the food was mouth wateringly good. The staff is good and the environment is nice and chill as well. Well done establishment.

I loved the calmness Noir offers, especially on a Friday night. It was serene and the music was perfect.Food took almost an hour to come. The wait was worth it, since I wasn't so hungry.Eating here is pricey-exquisite fine dining. Everything I had was a hit. I highly recommend the chicken escalope and mushroom sauce.I did enjoy the service and attention the staff paid to detail. They were very hands-on and swift in their duties, but I was surprised when the waitress "stylishly demanded" a tip, like she was trying to be discreet about it.Also, please include sweets when you bring your bill.

I’ve had Noir on my list of places to experience for a while especially because there’s been a bit of hype about the restaurant. First things first, the food is good but doesn’t justify the price! I had the crispy pork belly with crushed black pepper potatoes and it was just okay. The cooked apples that accompanied the dish was too sweet and the black pepper flavour was lost in the mix. There was no crispy on the pork belly and the meat was almost dry, what saved it was the sauce and softness off the potatoes.The poisson de jus (fish) and pilaf rice was tasty. The sauce was really good. We also had the beef croquettes in Bloody Mary sauce which was a beautiful combination of flavours. The chicken pizza was very nice and they didn’t skimp on the sauce and cheese plus the crust was thin and crispy. Also, the grilled tomato and herb soup came with 2 slices of garlic toast ! Every single bite and slurp of this was such a delight. I particularly enjoyed the fact that there were still bits of the onions in the soup that I was biting into. The welcome bread basket is the most uninteresting and uninspiring thing I have had visiting a restaurant. It was just plain slices of a baguette and pita bread served with butter that was cold and hard.For drinks, chocolate and vanilla milkshake which was throughly enjoyed by the person who had it and the berry mojito was over saturated with sugar. The mixologist no try for this one.If you plan to go there, be prepared cash wise because pocket friendly is not a term that works here.

Eating at Noir was a good experience. Our food was served on time. The mocktail was good. I enjoyed my main course of chicken breasts and jacket potatoes alot. The chicken was well seasoned. I absolutely loved my chocolate brownie dessert. The waiter who served us was quite pleasant . My date also enjoyed her meal.

My sister and I went to Noir Lagos for my birthday lunch. By now you should know I’m a pasta lover, but I’m determined to explore other options when next I’m out. It was really good but we didn’t want to indulge in it so much so we could have space for our meal. We had already ordered for starters before we were given the complimentary bread, else I wouldn’t have ordered for it really. For starter; we had the crispy prawns, chili sweet pepper sauce and French fries. Pairing the prawns with the sauce was excellent. I loved it. We were happy we ordered just 1 serving cos we we were getting full already.For our mains we both had the Penne Napolitana with Herb Napolitana Sauce, Parmesan Cheese and Chicken. The pasta on its own was 9,500 and an additional 4000 for chicken. I enjoyed the pasta, I would have left out the chicken because I really didn’t see a lot of chicken in my meal. This was a Lobster delivered to perfection. I enjoyed every bit of the time and the ambiance altogether made it a memorable time. The waiter was really attentive to how we wanted our stuff and I love the co*cktail. A comfortable A star service. Will recommend to anyone

The aesthetics definitely gives fine dining with a twist of “we’re not so uptight here” lol. The atmosphere was very appealing.The service was great. The wait time wasn’t so bad and the staff was very polite and helpful.The food was good, although I got too overwhelmed to eat my mains as my boyfriend decided to pop the question right after our main course came. But I can say for a fact that the dumplings was the star of the day.

The ambiance is lovely trust me customer service also top notch. But I honestly didn’t understand the menu. We wanted to have steak only to realise its like 30k for 600gr. We eventually had vegetable rice and there was complimentary bread too.

Stopped in for dinner and had a great meal. Loved the place. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu offering great recommendations.Unassuming and wonderful find. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. The dishes were delicious as were the wine and co*cktail recommendations.

This is a Japanese steakhouse. I have been here a couple of times. And each time is better than the last.Food: The food here is delicious, the staff are very helpful and friendly. They make excellent recommendations.Ambiance: it is a beautiful space, the decor is refreshing and definitely suits the Japanese theme.Cost: this place is a bit pricey but definitely worth the money.

I love love love the ocean view you get when you sit out.Good service…Loved the fact that the manager was really interested in the satisfaction of the customer.Loved the drama that came with preparing the steak. Food was goood - we got the salmon sushi with the Japanese Fried Rice and Teriyaki Chicken with White Rice. They all tasted amazing however I would say the teriyaki portions are a bit small and my friend complained that the Japanese Fried rice had little taste - I chose to differ actually.The place is really cute, there’s an outdoor dining area where we sat close to the furnace, facing the sea side - little to no flies at all. Great place to chill and eat 👍🏽

Lovely Japanese restaurant with a variety of sushi options. Interior is pretty with a cosy feel.. However, the food lacks that spark, nothing felt special just in case you are looking for more.Might give it a second try as I was a bit torn on how to conclude.

I loved the outdoor layout of the place, I tried the escargot, wasn’t really my thing,l actually had sushi for the first time and I loveddd it, the T-bone steak was done medium rare and it was divine, juicy and flavorful,service was good but it took ages to get a waiter to get the bill.

Authentic Japanese experience.The staff needs to be trained a more about the food . The vegetarian 🌱 food choices were limited, but the miso soup and the chever 🥗 salad( pardon me if I spelt it wrong ) was a good option to go with.They wud get you the shisha from the lagoon restaurant.

Shark house… i did a previous review of shark express i went to in Abuja so go to previous post to view it…Shark house on olubunmi Owa has same vibe as that in abuja. Roof top and airy. The difference is there’s music- which I love. Unlike the one in Abuja that looks a tad serious.My friends and I (5 of us) ordered the Royal boat which costs about N40k. It had jumbo prawns ; jumbo crabs, lobsters, clams, crawfish and sides - sweet potatoes, jollof rice and fried. We also ordered extra potato fries at N700. I had lovestruck drink which costs me N7k. The drink is big enough for 2 and definitely worth it cos it had burst of strawberries in it and a lil bottle of bubbly.The turn around for food and drinks here is quite slow. Average wait time of 1 hour for the food so pls order your food as soon as you get there. The waiters were good - professionalTurn down:Again, no crab breakers!!!!!! When we asked, waiter said there was only 1. Seriously!!!!!! This made eating the crab unenjoyable as soon of my friends definitely found it hard but your girl is a pro so - no shaking.Other than this, it’s definitely a good place for seafood loversGuess the most interesting part? They sang “dorime” while bringing the food.

A friend was leaving the country and we decided to send him out in style. Ordered for a platter and then it came. It was really good except for the crabs (definitely not fresh crabs). The rice sides were tastless and the shell cracker came very late. After I had injured myself trying to break a shell (100% my fault)... Would I go back? Yes... I would insist on fresh crabs though.

Nice ambiance, tasty food, price was good but service was so slow and not organised. Overall I really enjoyed my food.

This was the first time we had Boiling Crab and it was just so good . We got the extra hot and it was just the right amount of heat . Great relaxed atmosphere. You eat with your hands and wear a glove. Very fun energetic place. Food is great! Fresh seafood. The wait was a little long but worth it.The seafood boil is a must. You can order it with different flavors added in. I love their Canjun sauce! The shrimp is perfectly cooked and the sausage is really good too. it matches perfectly with their sauce.
