Mrs. Betty Jo Hill Bonds, 95, of Kilgore completed her earthly journey the evening of June 20, 2024. Her services will begin with a Visitation held on Monday, June 24, 2024, from five until seven o'clock in the evening at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home. The following morning, Tuesday, June 25, at eleven o'clock in the morning her funeral service will be held at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.
Betty was born on June 16, 1929, in St. Louis, Oklahoma to Rock and Ada Hill. Betty Married her best friend and love of her life Don Bonds. They adored each other and had four children. Betty loved her nine grandchildren, but she especially adored her 23 great-grandchildren. She was a loving and caring person who will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her. Betty was a longtime member of Forest Home Baptist Church in Kilgore; she loved her church family, and she enjoyed crocheting in her free time.
Betty was reunited in death with her husband, Don Bonds; both of her parents; her beloved grandson Brandon Tolbert; her brothers J.D. Hill and Charles Hill; and her two sisters Ona Schulman and Wanda Schulman.
She is survived by her children; Charles Bonds (Danna), Becky Canales, Donna Woods (Jimmy), and Brenda Bonds (Ian Kilpatrick); her sister Laverne Mercer, her beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, her Arabella family, and other family and friends.
