Why is my ClassLink sorry access denied? ›

Access Denied error: If you get and "Access Denied" error it is likely related to a caching issue or stored passwords/cookies. Try a separate browser or incognito mode. If that works and it lets you in, then its definitely a cache issue.

400 - Bad Request: The server didn't understand the request due to an incorrect input (e.g., incorrectly typed URL, incorrect syntax or unrecognized special characters). 401 - Unauthorized: The page you're requesting needs credentials (i.e., username and password) to authenticate in.

Make sure you're using the correct username and password provided by your school or district. Check for typos and ensure that caps lock is off. If you've forgotten your password, click on the “Forgot Password” link on the login page.

Your account will lock after too many unsuccessful login attempts in order to protect your information.

The Access Denied error message appears when someone attempts to access a page they don't have permission to view. There are a variety of scenarios in which this error message can be displayed.

“Access Denied: You Don't Have Permission to Access This Server” error indicates that the user lacks the necessary authorization to view or interact with the specific resource on the server. This could be due to incorrect login credentials, insufficient user permissions, or server-side restrictions.

From your computer's Internet browser, go to your school system's ClassLink login page and click Remote Login. (It'll be on the bottom of the screen). Use the mobile app's Authenticator on the mobile device to scan the provided Remote Login code and choose a user to log in.

How do I get error 410? If you incorrectly type a URL, you may see a 404 error explaining that this web page doesnt exist. However, if the page has been deleted, youll likely receive a 410 Gone status code. This means you wont be able to access the page at all.

This pop-up happens when you try to open a ClassLink app for the very first time. It asks you to install the Chrome browser extension for Single Sign-On (SSO) within ClassLink. Single Sign-On allows you to navigate all the apps within ClassLink ​without having to re-enter​a password.

You will see an error message like access denied or you don't have permission when you try to open some files on a Windows computer. This error message shows you require more administrative privileges to open that file. You can fix this error by assigning administrative rights to yourself.
